STAIRCASES

AS Betoneks manufactures stairs pursuant to the requirements stipulated in standards EVS-EN 14843:2007 “Precast concrete products. Stairs.” and EVS EN 13369 “Common rules for precast concrete elements”.
Besides functional tasks stairs are nowadays also a central interior decoration element. This means that stairs should match the interior design and they should look attractive. It may be thought that it is not possible to make slim and airy stairs from reinforced concrete but we have elaborated several types of stairs with different load bearing structures that are very slim and attractive. In order to give stairs a slim shape, a central load bearing beam is used, on which tread plates made from reinforced concrete are fastened. The same solution is also used in the design of spiral stairs. AS Betoneks manufactures pre-assembled stairs and stair elements according to the design documentation of the client.
The properties of concrete used for manufacturing elements of stairs meet the requirements stipulated in standard EVS-EN 206-1 “Concrete. Specification, performance, production and conformity”.
For reinforcement reinforcing steel is used conforming to the requirements of standard EVS-EN 10080 “Steel for the reinforcement of concrete. Weldable reinforcing steel”.
The product is accompanied by quality documentation – a declaration of performance meeting the requirements of CPR EU no. 305/2011. (DoP-Declaration of Performance)
